Danielle - Owner/Teacher

Danielle has been studying the piano for more than 20 years. She credits her knowledge and proper discipline to her training at the Karen Maison Studio of Piano, which is where she spent over 10 years of private instruction and developed an incredible passion and respect for the piano.
Danielle competed from 1995-2001 in the James R. Anthony Honors Recital and Phoenix MTA Celebration of Music Junior and Senior Divisions. In 2001, she was a Gold Medal winner at the Phoenix MTA Fall Festival. In 2002, she was awarded a 4 year, full tuition piano scholarship from Grand Canyon University, where she studied music for over 2 years.
Danielle graduated from GCU with a BA degree in 2005. She has been teaching privately for 10 years and has been playing professionally for 5 years.
Traveling Music Lessons was developed in the summer of 2011 and was designed to bring outstanding private musical instruction into the homes of those eager to learn. It is the goal of every teacher at TML to instill an incredible passion and respect in each student for their instrument.

Speedy Nutz

Speedy started lessons when he was six and studied through high school when he began to study jazz piano. He also played percussion from 4th grade through high school, including the school's concert bands, marching bands, and symphonic orchestras. The past two years, he has studied a Jazz Performance degree at Scottsdale Community College. Speedy has played around the valley in rock bands, church gigs and as a professional accompanist for different soloists. He has tutored in college and taught previously as a student.
​Rachel Kaemmerer

Rachel Kaemmerer began learning to play piano at the age of 4. At the age of 7, she became a student under Steven Bardin at Bardin Music Studio. Throughout high school, Rachel played in Basha High’s jazz band as well as a small jazz combo. She is currently working on getting her B.M. in Music Education/Piano at Arizona State University while studying under Walter Cosand.
Rachel began teaching piano lessons at the age of 16. She enjoys watching students grow as both individuals and as musicians. 

Jessica Kasal

Jessica started playing piano at the age of 5. Many years later, she had the amazing privilege of performing on stage at ASU Gammage. By the age of 12,  Jessica attended NAU's music camp for 2 years for piano performance, which started her passion for competing in state competitions. By the age of 14, she played piano for the National Junior Honor Society and received a presidential award for academic scholars. Shortly after entering high school, she auditioned for the school's choir and ended up becoming their pianist over the next 4 years. By the time she hit 16, she had not only completed in many state competitions, but was actively competing in youth Olympics for her church, winning numerous 1st place awards. Toward the end of her high school years, she decided to pursue a degree in Piano Performance at NAU. Over the years,  she transferred her knowledge and passion and began teaching piano on her spare time. Jessica has taught so many amazing students and quickly fell in love with teaching. To this day, she continues to share her love of music by volunteering to play piano for church and sharing her passion with her own family.

John Meier

John Meier is a local guitarist and composer in the Phoenix area. He has been studying music privately since the age of 10. He started learning how to play the guitar at age 15.  In 2014 He received a bachelor’s degree in Jazz performance from Arizona State University. At ASU he studied with Professors Jeff Libman and Michael Kocour. John has been teaching private lessons in the Phoenix area since 2010 to students ages 8 to 50.  John performs frequently throughout the valley. He performs many styles, however his main focus is Jazz. He frequently composes and performs his own music throughout the Phoenix area. His compositions have been showcased at the Nash, the Arizona State University Jazz composition contest, and the Reno Jazz Festival.

Nancy Davidson

Nancy has over 15 years of experience teaching private piano lessons to all ages and ability levels. In addition, she is a full time elementary educator and is currently teaching in Phoenix. Nancy has her BA in Elementary Education and is currently working toward her Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. 

Marlise Janda

Marlise has always loved music and started her involvement in piano at the age of 6. She also plays guitar in her free time ,and was part of the choral program throughout her education. She has completed 2 years at Arizona State University, studying music therapy, and has been teaching with Traveling Lessons for over 2 years. She looks forward to learning more about music and expanding her love for the piano.

Francie Orlando

We are partnered with Francie to offer in-home art workshops for groups and individuals of all ages. 
Francie is an art enthusiast , singer and mom of two grown children .  Her professional resume includes Church Childcare Director, Youth Ministry Director and Montessori preschool art instructor. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago,  Francie has lived in Chandler, Arizona  for 12 years with her husband .
